Airport
We recommend booking your flight to the O.R Tambo International Airport, which is the closest major airport to the CSIR Convention Centre in Pretoria.
Transport
To and from the airport
Delegates can choose to use the Gautrain train service from the O.R. Tambo International Airport to the Hatfield Gautrain Station, followed by an Uber or other shuttle service to their hotel.
During the conference
We recommend that delegates coordinate with their hotel to arrange a shuttle service to and from the CSIR International Convention Centre (ICC). Many hotels offer this service upon request.
Alternatively, delegates can use ride-hailing services such as Uber for daily transport between their accommodation and the ICC.

Travel and accommodation support
Unfortunately, the organisers are unable to provide any financial assistance for travel or accommodation costs. Delegates who are unable to cover their own expenses are kindly encouraged to participate in the conference virtually.
Online attendance
For delegates who are unable to attend the full conference on-site due to prior commitments or budget constraints, a selection of sessions will be available to follow online. To attend virtually, please register using this link.
Language used for conference
Please note that the conference and all sessions will be conducted in English. Unfortunately, no translation services will be available.
Catering at the venue
Delegates will be offered arrival refreshment and lunch each day for the duration of the conference. Kindly ensure that you indicate any dietary requirements when registering.
